Brrr… it’s getting a little chilly out there! Now that the weather’s turning and the sun is in hiding, it seems the perfect time for a little cup of Sunshine! This juice is the perfect combo to fight the post summer blues- it’s full of ginger and turmeric to help to warm you up, honey with packed with antimicrobial properties that help ward off a cold, and kiwi and tangerines that are full of immune boosting vitamin C and zinc to help with the changing weather. Little Cup of Sunshine
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients
3 tangerines
1 kiwi
2 pieces of turmeric
½ inch piece of ginger
½ tbsp. honey- Manuka if you can get it!
a few drops of Echinacea- optional
- Pop all your turmeric, ginger, kiwi and tangerines through a juicer
- Shake with the honey and Echinacea
- Serve and enjoy!
